How Does Halotherapy Work?

Micro-sized salt particles are dispersed into an enclosed environment such as a cabin or room, through a unique process made possible by a halogenerator. These salt particles are less than 3 microns! The salt creates an antibacterial environment, drawing out the excess moisture, the mucus and impurities that are in the airways and on the skin. Our high quality halogenerator produces the right size particles which is essential in order to achieve the desired results.

Halotherapy (aka Dry Salt Therapy) offers a holistic approach that mimics the microclimate of a salt cave. Outside of the US, halotherapy is regarded as conventional healthcare, and is covered by insurance in many countries.

You’ll breathe in the micro-sized salt particles, which are quickly transported to every part of the respiratory tract, even the smallest alveoli, and bronchioles. Then, the dry salt molecules dissolve and attract small impurities. Salt therapy may eliminate the root of inflammatory respiratory illnesses in the lower and the upper tract like asthma, bronchitis as well as allergies, by destroying bacteria and restoring health and boosting immunity.

Halotherapy offers the best results when practiced regularly at Soul Care Studio + Sauna. The benefits are cumulative, so consistency and frequency are the key. Those with chronic issues will benefit greatly by including Halotherapy at Soul Care at least 3-4 times a week. Halotherapy can be used on a daily basis without any side effects.

Chromotherapy

LED color light therapy is optional while you enjoy your Halotherapy. Pick from a selection of 12 colors to activate your circulatory and nervous system, relax, stimulate cell regeneration, or energize.

Chromotherapy is the process of restoring balance to the body by applying color. Each light color is a different wavelength vibrating at a different frequency.

Our sauna uses powerful medical-grade chromotherapy, 96 LED lights with an array of 12 colors – red, blue, strong blue, orange, green, strong green, yellow, strong yellow, indigo, strong indigo, strong pink, and violet.

The premise of chromotherapy is that each color is associated with a different bodily response.

For example, red is typically associated with stimulation, while blue is considered a mentally relaxing color.
